Design by Biophilia Psychedelia is guided by the belief that the living world restores us — and that a hint of the unexpected can re-enchant the everyday.

This renewal deepens when the garden is shared.

Each garden is shaped as habitat — a place of nourishment, shelter, and rest for both the people and fauna that recognize it as home. When plants are chosen for this place — for this sun, this soil, this rhythm of rain — the garden welcomes life: birds, bees, butterflies, lizards, rabbits and more. In time, the space settles into a quiet harmony of coexistence.

The garden does not simply grow — it unfolds, revealing itself slowly, season by season, as you do the same.

Biophilia Psychedelia Owner, Carolyn Harrold’s, connection to plants began at a young age — she began tending her family’s Garten in Hamburg, Germany before she learned to walk.

She has been gardening in Austin since 2008, experiencing both its most punishing heat (Summer 2011) and its deepest freeze (February 2021). Through these extremes, she has cultivated a plant palette that thrives where resilience is essential — gardens shaped for beauty, habitat, and longevity.
